Please read carefully: These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and (where relevant) your engagement with Empathy Engage services. Service delivery may also be governed by a separate Service Agreement and the NDIS Price Guide/Rules.
1) About Empathy Engage
Empathy Engage provides Behaviour Support and Allied Health services. Information on this website is general and does not replace professional advice.
2) Eligibility and service enquiries
Services may be available to NDIS participants and/or private clients depending on availability, location, and suitability. We may request relevant information to confirm service scope and safety requirements.
3) Appointments, cancellations and rescheduling
Appointment bookings are subject to availability. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we request as much notice as possible. Cancellation fees may apply in line with your service agreement and, where applicable, NDIS cancellation rules.
4) Fees, billing and payment
Fees may be billed via the NDIS (where applicable), plan management, self-management, or private payment arrangements. We will explain billing arrangements and obtain agreement before commencing services.
- Invoices may include service delivery time and reasonable administration/reporting consistent with agreed supports.
- Travel and non face-to-face items may apply where allowed and agreed in advance.
- Late payments may incur follow-up action consistent with your agreement and applicable law.
5) Telehealth and remote service delivery
Telehealth may be offered depending on participant needs and clinical suitability. You are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a private, safe environment where possible. If there is an immediate risk of harm, contact emergency services.
6) Participant responsibilities
To support safe and effective services, participants (and/or their representatives) agree to:
- Provide accurate information relevant to service delivery and safety
- Notify us of changes in support needs, risks, or key contacts
- Treat staff respectfully and maintain a safe environment during sessions
7) Outcomes and limitations
We aim to deliver high-quality, evidence-based supports. However, individual outcomes vary and depend on many factors including engagement, environment, complexity of needs, and consistency of implementation. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
8) Safeguarding, risk and emergencies
Where there are concerns about safety, risk, or safeguarding obligations, we may need to document and escalate in line with legal and regulatory requirements. If you are in immediate danger, call emergency services.
9) Website use and intellectual property
All content on this website is owned by or licensed to Empathy Engage unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use website content without written permission.
10) Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites for convenience. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11) Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge our privacy practices.
12) Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Empathy Engage is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on general information. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
